While driving down Industrial Road in San Carlos, you'll see lots of office buildings and businesses. The last thing you would expect to see is a bar, though hidden in one of the cross streets is Devil's Canyon Brewing Company, one of the most impressive venues I've been to on the Peninsula.

Devil's Canyon almost feels like three different venues in one, where there's the main room that usually hosts bands, a recreational-type room that hosts parties/bigger events, and a nice cozy outdoor seating area right in the middle with heat lamps and couches. Each little area in itself is comfortable to stay in, though if you are planning to stay the whole night, you can easily change up the scenery in a matter of steps.

One of my favorite aspects is they encourage you to bring in re-usable glasses for drinks. The bad news is they'll charge you for a glass with your first beer if you come unprepared. The good news is it's only $4, so you don't feel you are getting ripped off in any way.

They've got a variety of beers, with the darker ones being my favorites, though I fully intend on trying their lighter beers in the future. For non-alcoholics, they also have some of the best root beer you'll taste.

With great alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available, along with the variety in the venue itself, Devil's Canyon Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit!
